GopherCon Europe is the European conference for the Go programming language, held in Berlin. It brings together Go developers, library maintainers and occasionally members of the Go core team, with a programme covering language internals, concurrency patterns, performance profiling, tooling and the use of Go in production systems at scale. The Go community has a distinctive culture around simplicity and pragmatism, and the conference reflects that in both content and tone. Sessions range from introductory workshops through to deep technical talks on runtime behaviour and compiler work. Attendees come predominantly from European product companies running Go in backend services, infrastructure tooling and cloud-native platforms. Berlin has extensive conference infrastructure and a wide spread of hotel options across price points, which makes it accessible for attendees travelling independently as well as those on company budgets. Dates for the next edition are yet to be announced.
