The American Urological Association Annual Meeting is held in San Diego from 21 to 24 May 2027. It is the largest urology meeting globally, drawing urologists, residents, researchers and industry from across North America and internationally. The scientific programme covers oncology, endourology and stone disease, reconstructive urology, female pelvic medicine, andrology, paediatric urology and emerging surgical technology, delivered through plenary sessions, abstract presentations, courses and hands-on training. Late-breaking trial results presented at AUA frequently set clinical practice for the following year. The exhibition is extensive, covering surgical devices, imaging, robotics and pharmaceuticals. Attendance typically exceeds ten thousand. San Diego hosts several major medical congresses annually and the convention district hotel supply is substantial, though late May is peak season and rates rise accordingly across the downtown area.
