The Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology is held in Tashkent from 29 April to 2 May 2027. Organised by the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology, it is the principal regional radiology meeting across Asia and Oceania, bringing together radiologists, radiographers and medical physicists from a wide span of healthcare systems and resource settings. The scientific programme covers diagnostic imaging across all subspecialties, interventional radiology, radiation safety, and the deployment of AI-assisted reporting in settings with radiologist shortages. A recurring theme is the delivery of imaging services in regions with constrained infrastructure, which distinguishes the congress from its European and North American counterparts. Tashkent as host reflects the society's expansion into Central Asia. The city has a growing conference infrastructure and increasing direct air connections, though delegates travelling from outside the region should plan routing carefully.
